Przemysław Kieliszewski

Lawyer with musical education, doctor of humanities, lectures for students of Cultural Studies and Theatre Knowledge at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.

Author of publications on cultural management and cultural policy. Graduate of MBA studies. Member of the Association of Theatre Directors and the Conference of Musical and Opera Theatres. Member of the Artistic Council to the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the Council of the National Institute of Music and Dance and the Gorzów Philharmonic. In 2019-2020, Chairman of the first Academic Council of the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań.

Since 2013. Director of the Musical Theatre in Poznań. He has been pushing for its new premises and has successfully changed its repertoire profile, which is conducive to the development of the Theatre’s audience. He has produced musicals including Jekyll&Hyde, Evita, The Nun in Disguise, Madagascar, Nine, Footloose, The Addams Family, Pippin, Virtuoso about Ignacy Jan Paderewski, Kombinat with songs of the Republic and Irena about Irena Sendler, as well as concerts in television productions. He has also translated lyrics for the musicals Pippin (2019) and Virtuoso (2020).
