Poznań and the Greater Poland region have always been the centre of Polish economic and self-governmental thought, shaping the approach to thrift as a key pillar of the functioning of society and administration.
Drawing on this heritage, it was Poznań that we chose as the venue for the event, which became a regional space for debate on society, the economy and entrepreneurship. This is how the idea of the Poznań Economic Congress was born – a platform for discussion about the future of Greater Poland, Poland and the world. What economic, financial, economic and social challenges do we face?
How can the standards of thrift, business responsibility and self-governance developed in our region become a compass helping us to find our way in an increasingly complex reality?
Previous editions have shown that such an event is necessary. In 2024, the Congress attracted more than 1,700 participants, 70 partners and 200 panellists. In 2025, we want to go a step further, expanding its scale and impact. The Poznań Economic Congress is an initiative aimed at leveraging the potential of Greater Poland for the development of the entire country. It is a space for conversation, exchange of knowledge and experience, and presentation of achievements.
The Congress is also an opportunity to reflect on a rapidly changing world, in which we face the consequences of disrupted supply chains, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the COVID-19 pandemic, and climate change. Where, if not in Greater Poland, should we speak out about the challenges and ways of finding our way in the new reality?
Our Greater Poland identity, shaped by generations, is not only a concern to economic development, but also a responsibility for oneself, family and the country. What themes will we address during the Congress?
What threads does the Congress bring up?
