Three Seas Digital Forum to open PEC 2026. Poznań to host discussions on Central and Eastern Europe’s digital future

Who should shape the direction of digital development in Central and Eastern Europe? How can countries across the region work together to strengthen their technological competitiveness, attract investment and build a stronger position on the global stage? These questions will be at the heart of Three Seas Digital Forum, which will open the fifth edition of the Poznań Economic Congress (PEC 2026) on 12 November 2026.

Three Seas Digital Forum is an international event dedicated to digital cooperation among the countries of the Three Seas Initiative. The Forum is organised by the Poznań Institute (Instytut Poznański) and Digital Poland Association (Związek Cyfrowa Polska), under the honorary patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland.

The development of artificial intelligence, cloud services and digital infrastructure is increasingly shaping economic competitiveness and national security. For Central and Eastern Europe, this creates a growing need for joint action to make better use of the region’s technological and economic potential.

From Digital Sovereignty to Concrete Investments

The Three Seas Digital Forum programme will focus on key challenges shaping the digital future of the Three Seas region.

The main topics will include:

  • The economy of tomorrow – how can the region strengthen its competitiveness in the face of global technological change?
  • Financing digital investments – how can Central and Eastern Europe attract more capital and support the development of technology projects?
  • Artificial intelligence and cloud services – how can emerging technologies drive economic growth and strengthen digital sovereignty?
  • Cooperation among Three Seas countries – how can countries work together to address technological challenges and strengthen the region’s position?

The programme will feature panel discussions, keynote speeches and roundtable sessions, creating opportunities for direct exchanges of experience and perspectives among representatives of different sectors.

International Discussions on the Region’s Future

Representatives of the Polish and international public sectors, academia, the media and business have confirmed their participation in Three Seas Digital Forum.

The announced guests will also include high-level representatives of the region’s national authorities. Their names and further details of their participation will be announced by the organisers in the coming days.

The Forum aims to go beyond discussions about Central and Eastern Europe’s digital future. It will also provide opportunities to build relationships, exchange experience and identify common priorities for action.
