Can Poznań become an economic locomotive among European regions? What industries drive the development of our region? During the “Poznań Economic Map” panel, we will analyze key economic trends, including:

– demographics related to the dynamically developing Poznań district and challenges in the field of family businesses,

– labor market in Greater Poland,- the key role of the agriculture and breeding sector in Greater Poland compared to the entire country,

– changes in the number of students and graduates in Poznań,

– trends in housing in the agglomeration

– increased number of registered cars in the Poznań agglomeration.

With our experts, we will discuss what challenges, limitations and opportunities we see for Greater Poland and what strategic decisions should be made to develop in the right direction. Because the goal of the Poznań Institute of Development is to discover potential, inspire changes and build the future. The Economic Map of Poznań is an original project of the Poznań Institute of Development (an economic think tank). Poland is one of the leaders in open data in Europe, but there are still challenges related to its use. To fully use this data in management and strategic decision-making, we have created the first version of the discussed project. We want to support politicians, entrepreneurs and residents in building awareness of our common future. This is a unique opportunity to gain a comprehensive picture of Poznań’s economic prospects and find answers to the most important questions about the future of the region.

The sponsor of the panel is the Poznań Institute of Development
