An accompanying event of #PEC24 will be the CEE Cooperation Summit: Europe’s Rising Power 2024!

We are pleased to announce that a PEC24 Partner – the Central and Eastern European Council – is the organizer of this event associated with the Poznań Economic Congress, namely the CEE Cooperation Summit: Europe’s Rising Power 2024.

This is the second edition of the CEE Cooperation Summit: Europe’s Rising Power, a conference that serves as a forum for exchanging ideas on development perspectives and security in Central and Eastern Europe. During the first edition of the event in November last year in Warsaw, representatives from academia, business, and politics discussed the future of the region in areas such as energy, dual-use technologies, and transport. The talks also covered directions for cooperation between Central and Eastern European countries and ways to ensure security in the face of modern multidomain threats. Speakers and participants from the Three Seas Initiative countries, as well as from the United States, South Korea, France, Germany, and other European nations, attended the event.

A key strength of the CEE Cooperation Summit: Europe’s Rising Power lies in the high quality of its discussions and the opportunity to hear from speakers with diverse and rich experiences, enabling a deep understanding of the critical issues discussed, which are essential not only for Poland’s future but also for the entire region. The second edition of the event will be no different!

During the CEE Cooperation Summit: Europe’s Rising Power 2024, topics such as the future of transatlantic cooperation, energy security in the CEE region, and development prospects for breakthrough dual-use technologies, used for both civilian and defense purposes, will be explored. We will examine the fundamental challenges to our security and discuss ways to strengthen it. The participation of leading experts and practitioners from various European countries and the United States will ensure a high level of expertise in the discussions, which adds significant value to these critical topics.
