Endowment Capital in NGOs
This year, the PKG event will feature a side conference focused on presenting an endowment building plan.
The opening session of the conference will be a debate titled “Endowment in NGOs: A Foundation for Stability and Growth,” open to everyone interested. During this debate, attendees will not only learn about our plans but also gain insights into the concept of building endowments in the third sector and how they contribute to long-term financial stability.
Endowment capital consists of financial resources and other assets that an organization accumulates to generate income supporting its social objectives. Funds within an endowment are invested, with the organization using only the returns (interest or dividends) while keeping the principal amount intact. This approach provides NGOs with a stable, independent source of funding for pursuing their mission, unaffected by current donations or grants.
At #PKG24, we will highlight best practices in building and managing endowment capital, as well as its role in stabilizing and developing NGOs. Participants will share their experiences and recommendations for long-term financial planning in the third sector.
Join us at #PKG24 and learn more about endowment capital!
