The European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) Group is a political group in the European Parliament, established in 2009. It represents conservative and centre-right parties from across Europe, committed to promoting economic freedom, national sovereignty, and a reformed European Union that respects the independence and interests of its member states. The ECR Group advocates for policies that enhance prosperity, individual responsibility, and social cohesion while emphasising security and pragmatic solutions to climate challenges. Since our founding in 2009 with 54 MEPs from 8 member states, we have grown to 78 members from 18 EU countries, maintaining our position as the fourth-largest group in the European Parliament.
