Maj77 Association
A Polish political journalist, local government official, and democratic opposition activist during the PRL (Polish People's Republic) era, he served as a Member of the European Parliament in the 6th, 7th, and 8th terms (2004–2014, 2018–2019) and as a member of the Polish Sejm in the 8th and 9th terms (2015–2018, 2019–2023). Founder and Chairman of the Maj77 Association, which promotes remembrance of the independent student movement.
